CooperVision Discontinues Proclear® Monthlies and Biomedics® 1-Day Extra Lenses

9th Oct 2024

Coopervision are committed to providing you with the highest quality in vision care products. To continue offering the best solutions for your eye health and comfort, Coopervision want to inform you of some upcoming changes to their product range.

What’s Changing?

The Biomedics® 1 Day Extra and Proclear® Monthly lenses (excluding Proclear® XR Multifocal) will be discontinued as of December 1, 2024.

To ensure you continue to enjoy excellent vision care, Coopervision recommend transitioning to the advanced Biofinity® and MyDay® lenses, which offer:

  • Superior visual performance for clearer sight
  • Enhanced comfort for all-day wear
  • Higher oxygen transmissibility to keep your eyes healthy
  • Optimal fit for a better lens experience

This upgrade process is designed to be smooth and seamless, keeping your eye care journey uninterrupted and comfortable.

CooperVision is committed to advancing both innovation and sustainability in its product offerings. The company has recently expanded its portfolio with new introductions, such as the MyDay Multifocal, and has broadened the parameter range of MyDay Toric lenses.

Furthermore, CooperVision has undertaken a significant environmental initiative by partnering with Plastic Bank, ensuring that their products are plastic neutral to support environmental health.

Should you have any questions or need further assistance, please speak to your optometrist for more information.
